2008 International Symposium on Safety Science and Technology (2008ISSST) is to be held in Beijing, China, on September 24-27, 2008. The Symposium is a continuation of the previous five international symposia held in Beijing (1998 and 2000), Tai’an(2002), Shanghai(2004) and Changsha(2006) respectively. The aim of the Symposium is still to provide an up-to-date discussion in the field of safety science and technology in general. All papers intended to be presented at the symposium will be published in Progress in Safety Science and Technology (vol. VII).
